The last date for registration has passed.

Scouts will be hiking the Highland Trail in Highland Recreation Area and spending the night. This hike is in preparation for the Philmont Trip but others are welcome.

Eat breakfast before arriving. Participants will need to bring their own food for lunch, dinner(backpacking instant meals) and breakfast on Sunday.

If an individual has not been on a CPT hike before they will need to complete the 300 word essay asap. Directions are available online at the Chief Pontiac Trail website, requirements are specific. After the hike a post hike report must be written to receive a medal.

Scouts will meet in the Sorrows parking lot at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that Troop has published, and I have read, a policy regarding refunds for trips on which my son cannot attend. In the event of a normal trip, I will not receive a refund unless I notify the leader in charge no later than 5:00 p.m. of the Wednesday immediately prior to the departure date for the trip. I may receive a refund if a cancellation after the cancellation date is the result of an emergency, as determined on a case-by-case basis by the Troop Committee in consultation with the Scoutmaster
