Ski trip to Caberfae in Cadillac, MI

We will meet at Our Lady of Sorrows parking lot at 6pm on Friday January 17 and drive to lodging at Eagle Village which is about 33 miles south of Caberfae Peaks Resort. Please be dressed in Class A uniforms and eat dinner beforehand.  There will be snacks when we get to Eagle Village.  The scouts will have breakfast at Eagle Village on Saturday and Sunday and then drive to Caberfae each day for a day of skiing. The cost to sign-up will pay for lift tickets and ski rentals on Saturday and Sunday as well as meals both days. The scouts will leave after breakfast on Monday, January 20th.

Please bring cash for helmet rental ($3/day), beginners group lesson ($5/lesson), dinner on Sunday, and any snacks/incidentals.

The Scouts will return Monday at approximately noon to the Maxfield Edu. Center parking lot, located across Raphael Street from the church. If you are not accompanying your Scout, please make sure that you leave a phone number where you can be reached that morning. Your Scout will most likely call when they are on the way home to give you a more exact time for pick-up.

Further details will be sent in follow-up emails.

All adults attending must have Youth Protection and Protecting God's Children training.

Electronics use by Scouts is only allowed during travel to/from outings.

Cancellation Policy
I understand that Troop has published, and I have read, a policy regarding refunds for trips on which my son cannot attend. In the event of a normal trip, I will not receive a refund unless I notify the leader in charge no later than 5:00 p.m. of the Wednesday immediately prior to the departure date for the trip. I may receive a refund if a cancellation after the cancellation date is the result of an emergency, as determined on a case-by-case basis by the Troop Committee in consultation with the Scoutmaster.
