The last date for registration has passed.

The Scouts will meet in the OLS parking lot promptly at 6:00 pm on Friday, March 13th.Scouts should have eaten dinner and be dressed in class A uniforms. They will be traveling approximately 150 miles on Friday evening to Camp Avery Hand in Wakeman, Ohio where the group will be staying at the camp.  On Saturday the scouts will travel to Ray’s Indoor Mountain Bike Park in Cleveland where they will spend the day.

The registration fee for this event includes the amount of bike rental at Ray’s. If a participant brings their own bike he or she will be credited $18 in Scout Bucks.  Scouts under 13 can also be credited $6 as the fee at Ray's is less. 

The Scouts will be arriving home from the trip at approximately noon on Sunday the 15th.  If you are not accompanying your Scout, please make sure that you leave a phone number where you can be reached. Your Scout will most likely call when on the way home to let you know when exactly to pick them up from Our Lady of Sorrows or the other arrival parking lot.

SPECIAL NOTES ABOUT BIKES, HELMETS, WAIVERS AND TRANSPORTING OUR BIKES

1.  All unaccompanied scouts for the bike weekend must have a signed waiver from Ray’s.  Waivers for Ray's can now be completed at their website!  http://www.raysmtb.com/waivers.html.  

2.  Participants must bring their bike helmet.

3.  Please let me know by email, if you will be renting a bike on Saturday or bringing your own. I want to make sure that we have adequate transportation for those who would like to bring their own bikes. Information about the rental bikes is available at Ray's website. 

4.  Drivers- Please email me and let me know how many bikes your vehicle can transport. (matt.brooke@gmail.com)

Electronics use by Scouts is only allowed during travel to/from outings.

Cancellation Policy
I understand that Troop has published, and I have read, a policy regarding refunds for trips on which my son cannot attend. In the event of a normal trip, I will not receive a refund unless I notify the leader in charge no later than 5:00 p.m. of the Wednesday immediately prior to the departure date for the trip. I may receive a refund if a cancellation after the cancellation date is the result of an emergency, as determined on a case-by-case basis by the Troop Committee in consultation with the Scoutmaster.
